Aji no Sanpei

Founded in 1955, this legendary Sapporo establishment is renowned as the birthplace of Miso Ramen. A quiet, 10-seat counter-only shop is discreetly nestled on the 4th floor of a stationery store building (Daimaru Fujii Central) – quite an unexpected location. In contrast to the rich and robust Sumire-style, its distinctive feature is a simple, mellow flavor rooted in miso soup. This bowl, generously filled with stir-fried ground pork and vegetables, will make you realize, 'This truly feels like the origin of Miso Ramen.' Lunch is served until 3 PM.

1. Before Entering (If there's a queue) If there is a queue outside the shop, please join the end of the line. 2. Ordering After being seated, please place your order verbally with the staff. Simply saying "Miso" is sufficient. 3. Seating & Receiving Once your ramen is served, please enjoy your meal. When you've finished eating, please pay with cash directly at your table. 4. Other Tips It is recommended to stir the ramen well from the bottom of the bowl after it's served before you start eating. You can enjoy an even richer flavor experience by adding the spicy miso available on your table.
