Kamosoba Sawada Yodobashi
鴨そば さわ田 ヨドバシ横浜店
Overview
Kamosoba Sawada Yodobashi Yokohama Store is a light-style ramen shop located in the B2F restaurant floor of Yodobashi Camera Yokohama, a 3-minute walk from JR Yokohama Station. It has gained recognition in the west exit area of Yokohama for its rare concept featuring duck as the main ingredient, offering high-quality clear soy sauce broth ramen. The signature dish is Chuka Soba with a clear broth made from duck carcass and whole Daisen chicken. The translucent soy sauce soup boasts a delicate flavor where the umami of duck and chicken intertwine, creating an elegant yet deep richness that makes you want to drink every last drop. The noodles are thin, straight, and brownish, made with whole wheat flour, offering a grainy texture and a firm, low-hydration bite that pairs perfectly with the soup. The char siu is thinly sliced, moist, and tender, melting in your mouth. The purple onion garnish adds a refreshing accent. One of the specialties is a bowl topped with charcoal-grilled Daisen chicken duck loin. This exquisite dish allows you to enjoy the aromatic char and juicy umami of duck, with the option to increase the number of duck loin slices. In addition to the regular duck-broth Chuka Soba, they also offer different broth systems, such as salt and soy sauce soba made with charcoal-grilled horse mackerel dashi, allowing you to choose a bowl with a distinct dried sardine aroma. Seasonal limited menus and ginger chazuke (rice with tea/broth) meant to be enjoyed by pouring soup over it are also available, making it easy to visit when you want to savor a light-style ramen.
How to Order
1Before entering the store
Located on the B2F restaurant floor of Yodobashi Camera Yokohama, a 3-minute walk from the West Exit of JR Yokohama Station. Several ramen shops are lined up on the same floor. Open continuously from 11:00 to 21:30, closed on Yodobashi's facility holidays. It is often relatively empty, and you can usually enter without waiting if you avoid the lunch peak.
2Purchasing meal tickets/ordering
There is a ticket vending machine at the entrance where you purchase meal tickets before entering and taking a seat. The vending machine is a new type that supports electronic money and QR code payments, accepting cash, various credit cards, transportation IC cards, and QR code payments. The menu includes Chuka Soba (soy sauce) with duck and Daisen chicken, salt, charcoal-grilled horse mackerel dashi salt/soy sauce soba, and charcoal-grilled duck loin noodles. You can also order extra duck loin slices.
3Seating and receiving your order
The restaurant features mainly counter seats with some table seating. Counters have partitions, making it comfortable to eat alone. Service is smooth, taking about a few minutes to 7 minutes.
4Others
The only condiment on the table for flavor change is pepper. For the ginger chazuke, it is recommended to enjoy it plain first, then pour the ramen soup over it. Besides duck soba, the horse mackerel dashi series offers a different broth profile, so you can choose according to your preference.

This shop is known for its hearty miso ramen: a thick, rich, slightly sweet miso broth, firm thick noodles, melt-in-your-mouth chashu, and a towering pile of crisp bean sprouts (moyashi) – a truly robust and voluminous bowl. The menu features four main series: Miso Ramen, Kara-Miso Ramen (spicy miso), Aemen (a brothless mixed noodle dish), and IWGP Geki-Kara Ramen (extra hot).
