How to Order
1Before entering (if there's a line)
A renowned Hakodate miso ramen shop located 5 minutes walk from Asakusabashi Station (8 minutes walk from Akihabara Station). It's situated next to the extremely popular restaurant 'Kyo Kuroki'. During busy times, you may need to wait in line outside the shop.
2Purchase meal ticket / Order
Orders are placed by purchasing meal tickets from a vending machine inside the shop. If there's a line, the procedure varies by shop, so it's safest to observe the line and decide whether to join the end of the queue or buy your meal ticket first. The vending machine has photos but no English descriptions. A wide range of payment methods are accepted: cash, credit cards (VISA/Master/JCB/AMEX/Diners), electronic money (transportation IC cards, Rakuten Edy, nanaco, WAON, iD, QUICPay), and QR code payments (PayPay). Advance online reservations are also possible via Tabelog.
3Seating and receiving your order
There are 14 seats (10 counter seats, 1 table for 4 people). Please take a seat as directed by the staff and hand over your meal ticket. Your order will be served within a few minutes.
4Other
The signature Hakodate Miso Ramen features a sweet miso soup, yellow wavy egg noodles, and Hokkaido-style toppings such as butter, corn, and stir-fried vegetables. Salt ramen and fried rice are also highly rated. You can change the flavor with grated garlic available on the table. The service of providing a frozen hand towel upon arrival is also popular.
