Okami Soup

A miso ramen specialty shop started from a food stall by an owner who trained at Sumire. The menu's striking simplicity offers just two types: Miso Ramen and Miso Egg Ramen. The soup, a powerful blend of pork bone and chicken bone broth with the added sweetness of potatoes and onions, delivers a strong punch of ginger and garlic. Despite being free of chemical seasonings, it boasts a rich, deep umami that perfectly coats Nishiyama Seimen's chewy, medium-thick wavy noodles. The topping of thick-sliced pork belly chashu and cabbage is also a unique feature of this shop. The ordering style is distinctive: customers pay first in the waiting area inside the shop. Located a 5-minute walk from Nakajima-Koen Station, this is a renowned Sapporo miso ramen spot, also selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Restaurants (Hyakumeiten).
