Ramen Manrai
らぁめん 満来
Overview
Located a 5-minute walk from Shinjuku Station's West Exit, this is an established ramen shop and the original establishment from which its neighbor 'Horiuchi' branched off. The menu primarily features two types: ramen and Zaru (tsukemen). A striking characteristic is the overwhelming volume, with even a regular serving containing 1.5 to 2 times the normal amount of noodles. The soup is a chicken-based clear soy sauce, offering a gentle, old-fashioned flavor with a robust umami. The chashu pork is thickly sliced (over 1cm), resulting in a tender and juicy finish. Open until 11 PM, it's perfect for those seeking a hearty meal or a satisfying bowl after a night out.

Seating
How to Order
1. **Before Entering (If there's a line)** If there is a line outside the shop, please line up and wait. There are also waiting chairs inside, so please wait according to the staff's guidance. 2. **Entering the Shop & Ordering** Upon entering the shop, you will find a ticket machine immediately to your right. Please purchase your meal ticket first. Payment is cash only (credit cards, e-money, and QR code payments are not accepted). The ticket machine does not have English descriptions or photos, so it's smoother to decide what you want to eat in advance. "Ramen" and "Zaru" (cold noodles) are the basic menu items, and "Cha-shu-men" is a deluxe version with plenty of chashu pork. Even a regular serving has a generous amount of noodles, so if you eat less, you may tell the staff "Men Sukuna-me" (less noodles). 3. **Seating & Receiving Your Order** Once you are shown to your seat, please hand your meal ticket to the staff. Please wait at your seat until your ramen is ready.
