Ramen Takanome Kamata
ラーメン 鷹の目 蒲田店
Overview
Ramen Takanome Kamata branch is an advanced-level shop in Kamata, Tokyo, where you can experience intense Jiro-kei ramen. It's cash only, and the ticket vending machine is in Japanese, but mazesoba (soupless ramen) and limited-time menus are also popular. Just before your order is served, you must make a 'call' (verbal request) to specify toppings like 'Yasai' (vegetables), 'Ninniku' (garlic), 'Abura' (pork back fat), and 'Karaage' (fried chicken) using terms such as 'Mashimashi' (extra extra), so be sure to decide what you want beforehand. Noodle portions can be chosen from Mini (200g) to Large (400g), offering a very substantial meal.
How to Order
Here's how to order at Ramen Takanome Kamata branch:
1**Before Entering (If There's a Queue)**
If there's a line outside the shop, please queue up behind other customers. Observe the other customers to determine whether to buy your meal ticket first or after entering. 2. **Purchase Meal Ticket / Order** Please purchase your meal ticket from the vending machine before taking a seat. Cash only. The vending machine does not have English descriptions, so it'll be smoother if you decide on your menu beforehand. Noodle portion sizes are available in Mini 200g, Small 300g, and Large 400g. Mazesoba (soupless noodles) and limited-time menus are also available. 3. **Seating & Receiving** After taking your seat, please hand your meal ticket to the staff. Immediately before your ramen is served, the staff will ask for your topping preferences (this is called a "Call"). From Yasai (vegetables), Ninniku (garlic), Abura (pork back fat), and Karaage (spicy fried tempura bits), please state your preference as "Sukuname" (less), "Mashi" (more), or "Mashimashi" (even more) for each. If you have no particular preferences, Yasai will be included by default, but Ninniku (garlic) and others will not be added unless you "Call" for them.
