1Before Entering

A street-level shop located near Toyosaki Nishi Park, a 3-minute walk from Osaka Metro Midosuji Line "Nakatsu" Station Exit 1, or a 10-minute walk from Hankyu Umeda Station. Open only Mon-Fri from 10:45 AM to 4:00 PM, closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays. Closes once the soup runs out. Irregular holidays (sometimes open during Golden Week, etc., announced on Facebook). The shop operates on a numbered ticket system; tickets are distributed at the storefront starting at 10:15 AM. The ticket will specify a re-entry time, and customers return at that time to line up in front of the shop. Due to its popularity, many customers come to get tickets between 7 AM and 10 AM. On a Saturday when open, ticket number 38 (12:44 PM slot = 3-hour wait) can be issued as early as 9:30 AM.

2Purchasing Meal Tickets and Ordering

Revisit at the time indicated on your ticket and queue in front of the shop. Once inside, purchase your meal ticket from the machine at the entrance. Buttons have English labels, and a separate English menu is also available. The main signature dishes are "Shoyu Ramen" (900 yen – a confident creation blending chicken paitan with seafood-flavored soy sauce), "Shio Ramen" (950 yen – featuring the aroma of shiso and the umami of clam broth), and "Chashu Tsukemen" (1,350 yen). The side dish "Heta-meshi" (400 yen – rice stir-fried with leftover chashu pieces) is a specialty, and many customers order it with their ramen. Payment is cash only; credit cards, e-money, and QR payments are not accepted.

3Seating and Receiving Your Order

The cozy interior has a total of 11 seats: 3 at the counter and 2 four-person tables. Staff will guide you to your seat, and your ramen will be served approximately 5-10 minutes after you hand over your meal ticket. Highlights include the mechanism of dried scallops and small shrimp emerging from the bottom of the Shio Ramen soup, and the calm atmosphere, which a regular customer of 20 years describes as "the proprietress's service never changes, no matter when I visit."

4Other Notes

Black pepper is available on the table; a final sprinkle enhances the sweetness of the chicken paitan. For Tsukemen, it's customary to ask for soup-wari (broth to dilute the dipping sauce) to finish the soup. Mixing the shiso flowers floating in the Shio Ramen with the noodles adds refreshingness. Numbered tickets cannot be given to others (by rule), and punctuality is crucial as your seat will be given to the next customer if you miss your re-entry time. Despite being a long-established shop with multiple 20-year regulars, first-time visitors are also welcomed with polite service.
