1Before Entering

A 24-hour "chan-kei" ramen shop located on the 1st floor of Shibuya Sakura Stage (1-1 Sakuragaoka-cho), a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station (all lines). It's a rare shop that can be used at any time, including late night and early morning. There might be a wait of about 5 people at lunchtime, but there are times when you can enter without waiting, such as around 2 PM or 8:10 PM on weekdays.

2Purchasing Meal Tickets

There's a touch-panel ticket machine at the entrance. The process is to purchase tickets first, then proceed to your seat. English descriptions on the ticket machine are limited, but there are many foreign staff members, making it easy for non-Japanese speakers (difficulty level 1). Signature items include Chuka Soba (950 yen), Chashu-men (1250 yen), Menma (100 yen), Sliced Egg, Free Rice, and Mori Chuka (Tsukemen). Payment options are comprehensive, accepting cash, credit cards (VISA・Master・JCB), e-money (transportation IC・iD・QUICPay), and QR code payments (PayPay・d払い・Rakuten Pay・au PAY).

3Seating and Receiving

A compact interior with only 14 counter seats. Seats are a bit narrow, but paper aprons are provided. The staff consists of two women (sometimes including foreign staff), and their polite service is well-regarded. Orders are served in about 5-10 minutes.

4Others

This is the Shibuya branch of "chan-kei" ramen (a ramen style originating in the Tokyo metropolitan area in 2020 with Kanda Chie-chan Ramen, featuring a soy-sauce based soup reminiscent of traditional Chuka Soba). The soup is an oily soy-sauce based broth with a sharp umami and a nostalgic Chuka Soba flavor, featuring a well-balanced saltiness that seeps into the body. The noodles are thick, flat, straight, with a smooth texture and a slightly soft chewiness that blends well with the soup. The chashu is thinly sliced with a slicer and served generously; the sound of the slicer can be heard periodically in the shop. The sliced egg easily absorbs the soup and pairs well with the free rice. You can customize the flavor with minced garlic, pepper, vinegar, ichimi (chili powder), and "aokappa" (pickled cucumber) available at the table; it's common to eat "aokappa" with white rice. Its 24-hour operation and convenience for late-night use are highly praised.
