Shinpuku Saikan Hamamatsucho
新福菜館 浜松町店
Overview
Shinpukusaikan, a long-established restaurant originating from Kyoto, has one of its Tokyo branches here. Its signature dishes are jet-black chūka-soba (Chinese noodles) and similarly black yakimeshi (fried rice). Despite their dark appearance, the flavors are said to be not as rich as they look, offering a delightful aroma of soy sauce and a refreshing aftertaste. Set menus combining chūka-soba and yakimeshi (available in small or regular sizes) are a classic choice, and many customers opt for them. There is no ticket vending machine; instead, staff take orders while customers wait in line, ensuring that by the time you're seated, your meal is almost ready to be served. Seating consists only of tables (shared tables are possible, with partitions). The restaurant is conveniently located about a 2-minute walk from Daimon Station, making it easy to stop by for a meal in Hamamatsucho or for a quick bite after a business trip.
