Overview
Founded in 1971, this long-established ramen and gyoza specialty shop is nestled in a back alley of Sennichimae. Its signature ramen features a clear, chicken bone-based salt soup. While it looks and tastes light and refreshing, it boasts a solid depth of umami and richness, making it a popular 'shime' (post-drinking meal) among regulars. Another specialty is the small, handmade gyoza, meticulously crafted from scratch by the master. They feature a crispy grilled surface filled with a generous amount of cabbage. This small shop, with just 11 counter seats, is run solely by the owner and is open only in the evenings. There's no English support, orders are taken verbally, and foreign customers are a rare sight – truly a super local spot. It's for adventurers prepared to dive into the deep nights of Minami.
