Ordering difficulty
Purchase meal tickets at the vending machine outside, then present them at the counter, verbally calling out your preferred noodle firmness: barikata (very firm), harigane (ultra firm), kona-otoshi (flash-cooked), futsu (regular), or yawa (soft).
Recommended for first visit
The signature item is "Ramen" (940 yen); for men, the volume is intended for an extra noodle serving (120 yen), and combining a regular firmness with the weekday lunch free small rice service is a classic choice.
Notes
Payment is cash only, and various cashless payment methods are not accepted; the free small rice service is a limited-time offer from opening until 4 PM on weekdays.

1Before entering

Located a 5-minute walk from Yokohama Station West Exit towards Minamisai, near Don Quijote Yokohama Nishiguchi store, in an alleyway where a flower shop opposite Aeon serves as a landmark for turning left. On weekdays during lunch or evening, it's often possible to enter without waiting outside, but on Sundays and holidays from noon to afternoon, there might be a queue of around 5 people. As it operates continuously until 1 AM, it caters to late-night cravings after drinking around Yokohama Station or for a final meal before the last train.

2Purchasing meal tickets and ordering

There's a ticket vending machine outside the shop. The menu primarily features "Ramen" (940 yen), along with Chashu-men, Kaedama (extra noodles), Mentaigohan (small/regular), Ajitama (seasoned egg), green onions, nori (seaweed), kikurage (wood ear mushrooms), takana (pickled mustard greens), and umakara miso (spicy miso) toppings. Pre-purchase: Purchase your meal ticket at the vending machine before joining the end of the queue. When handing your meal ticket to the staff, verbally request your preferred noodle firmness from "kona-otoshi (flash-cooked)", "harigane (ultra firm)", "barikata (very firm)", "futsu (regular)", or "yawa (soft)". Payment is cash only; credit cards, e-money, and QR code payments are not accepted.

3Seating and receiving your order

The seating consists mainly of 10 counter seats with additional table seating. Service from submitting your meal ticket to receiving your order is quick, taking only a few minutes (around 5 minutes), ensuring good turnover even during busy periods. Since the noodles are extra-fine and portions are somewhat small, men should plan on ordering an extra noodle serving (kaedama, 120 yen).

4Other

A limited-time special offers a free small bowl of rice from opening until 4 PM on weekdays. Grated garlic, red ginger, white sesame seeds, bonito flakes, umakara miso (spicy miso), and vinegar are available on the table for changing the flavor later in the meal. When ordering a second kaedama, the soup might become less flavorful, so it's common to add some table sauce and extra sesame seeds and red ginger. On some days, the owner provides "chashu off-cuts" in a bowl on the counter, which customers can freely take and eat.
