Tokyo Station Ikaruga
東京駅 斑鳩
Overview
This is a branch of the famous 'Ikaruga' ramen shop from Kudanshita, Tokyo, located in 'Tokyo Ramen Street' at Tokyo Station Ichibangai. Its signature dish is the 'Noko Tokyo Station Ramen (Seafood Tonkotsu)', featuring a double soup blending animal and seafood bases. Despite its rich appearance, the texture is light and refreshing, with the umami of seafood, especially bonito, standing out. The medium-thin to medium-thick straight noodles are firm and cooked al dente. It's topped with a soft-boiled seasoned egg, naruto, chashu pork, thick menma, and nori seaweed. Other menu items include Yuzu Shio Ramen, a lighter Tokyo Station Ramen, and Aburi Niku Gohan (seared pork rice). Adding the Rishiri Kombu vinegar available on the table mellows the rich soup. This ramen is a well-rounded choice for those seeking a consistently delicious bowl at Tokyo Station.
How to Order

Official SNS:https://www.instagram.com/kudan_ikaruga/
1Before entering
Located within 'Tokyo Ramen Street' in Tokyo Station Ichibangai, a 1-minute walk from the Yaesu Central Ticket Gate. Open continuously from 10:00 to 23:00. While it was once a popular spot with long queues, it has become relatively easier to enter in recent years, with no wait or only a few minutes during weekday lunch, though it can still take about an hour during peak times on Friday nights. The turnover is relatively fast.
2Purchase meal tickets and order
Purchase meal tickets from the vending machine at the entrance. The 'Noko Tokyo Station Ramen (Seafood Tonkotsu)' in the top-left of the vending machine is the most popular. It comes with photos and partly supports English display. Payment is accepted via cash and transportation IC cards (such as Suica); credit cards and QR code payments are not available.
3Seating and receiving your order
There are about 22 seats, including two tables. Seating is somewhat narrow, and it often gets crowded with tourists and their luggage. Orders are served in about 5 to 10 minutes.
4Other information
Adding Rishiri Kombu vinegar, available on the table, will mellow the rich soup. You can also enjoy flavor changes with shichimi pepper or soy sauce. There's also the fun of trying different menu items on return visits, such as the lighter 'Tokyo Station Ramen', Yuzu Shio Ramen, or Aburi Niku Gohan (seared pork rice).
