Tokyo Underground Ramen Ganja
東京アンダーグラウンドラーメン 頑者
Overview
Gan-ja, a renowned establishment from Kawagoe, now has its Ikebukuro branch located in the "Tobu Hope Center" within the Ikebukuro Station West Exit underground shopping area. The flat, thick noodles, a hallmark of a group with its own noodle factory, are their most distinctive feature, offering a delightful smooth yet chewy texture and rich wheat aroma. Their signature Tsukemen boasts a rich seafood tonkotsu soup, meticulously simmered for over 10 hours using chicken bones, pork bones, bonito, mackerel, and dried sardines. Both S (200g) and M (300g) noodle portions are available at the same price. The popular "Tantan Aemen" is a soupless dish where the spiciness of chili oil perfectly coats the flat noodles. Directly connected to the station and open from 10 AM, it offers excellent accessibility. The service style involves purchasing meal tickets from a vending machine before being seated. Transportation e-money is accepted.
