1Before entering

A Budouka-affiliated Iekei ramen shop located a 2-minute walk from Keikyu Kamata Station, inside "ASTO" commercial facility directly connected to Keikyu Kamata Station. It operates for long hours from 7:00 AM to 0:00 AM the next day (Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 0:00 AM), making it a rare Iekei shop in Kamata that offers "Asa-Lar" (morning ramen), suitable for breakfast, lunch, and late-night meals. The special price for Morning Ramen (Asa Ramen) at 780 yen (until 11:00 AM) is also popular. On weekday lunchtimes, there are about 5 groups waiting outside. On weekday afternoons around 2 PM and after 10 PM, you can enter without waiting. On weekend lunchtimes and around 6 PM, the counter seats are usually full.

2Purchasing meal tickets and ordering

Purchase meal tickets from the ticket vending machine at the shop entrance. The operation when there is a queue is fluid, so it is safe to observe the end of the line and decide whether to join the queue first or buy a ticket first (staff will guide you to a seat when one becomes available). Signature items include Ramen (Regular) 900 yen, Morning Ramen 780 yen (morning ramen price until 11:00 AM), Smoked Chashu Ramen (Regular) 1200 yen, Abura Soba 1050 yen, All-you-can-eat Rice 100 yen, Nori 100 yen, Bottled Beer 600 yen. Toppings include extra smoked chashu, ajitama (seasoned egg), spinach, cabbage, etc. The vending machine accepts cash only; electronic money, QR codes, and credit cards are not accepted. When handing your meal ticket to the staff, verbally tell them your Iekei standard 3-point customization: Noodle firmness (kata/futsu/yawa) (kata (firm), futsu (regular), yawa (soft)), Flavor richness (koime/futsu/usume) (koime (rich), futsu (regular), usume (light)), Amount of oil (ooime/futsu/sukuname) (ooime (more oil), futsu (regular), sukuname (less oil)). The default saltiness is strong, and "koime" calls are somewhat frequent, so for a first visit, "futsu" (regular) for all is a safe choice.

3Seating and receiving your order

There are 13 counter seats, and staff will guide you to a seat. The staff are mainly foreigners, providing efficient service and prioritizing quick turnover. Orders are typically served within 5-10 minutes.

4Other

All-you-can-eat rice for 100 yen is self-service. Next to the rice cooker, there are chashu scraps, aokappa (pickled cucumber), and chili pickles lined up, allowing you to assemble your own "guilty rice," which is a major highlight. On the table, you'll find Goku Ninniku (garlic pickled in soy sauce, for flavor change), Mugen Ninniku (unlimited garlic), ginger, tobanjan (chili bean paste), vinegar, and mayonnaise. The combination of Goku Ninniku + mayonnaise on rice is a regular's staple. The soup is a rich tonkotsu shoyu of the Budouka lineage, characterized by a savory and slightly salty soup extracted to the bone marrow, with the sharpness of soy sauce and the aroma of chicken oil (chee-yu) forming layers, reflecting a direct-lineage taste. The noodles are medium-thick, short, flat noodles (sugi-jirushi) from Sakai Seimen, a purveyor to Iekei shops, offering a chewy texture that pairs excellently with the rich soup. The chashu is a large slice of smoked pork loin, with a moist texture and smoky aroma that transfers to the soup, adding depth. The classic Iekei style of dipping nori in the soup and wrapping it around rice can be enjoyed to perfection.
