Ramen Kurouzu
らぁ麺 くろ渦
Overview
A popular ramen shop belonging to the Hayashida Group, located just a 2-minute walk from Shinjuku-sanchome Station. Their signature Shoyu Ramen features a clear, chicken-based soup with a distinctive soy sauce aroma, perfectly paired with thin, firm, and delightfully snappy noodles. The menu's breadth is also a draw, with options like the elegant salt-based Nodoguro Soba, which combines clear chicken broth with Nodoguro dashi, and Mazesoba, offering a rich flavor from soy sauce tare mixed with an egg yolk. The ticket vending machine provides photos and English guidance, allowing international travelers to order without confusion. Open until 11 PM, it's a reliable dining choice in Shinjuku.
